Young leaders who have demonstrated the ability to galvanize peers and sustain active engagement for a full academic year for the protection and sustainability of our oceans and marine life. Although the campaigns will be time-bound, their impact should pave the way for the next series of student movements to transpire.

Nov 10, 2023: 10th Annual Millennium Ocean Prize Opens
December 30th, 2023 - 11:59 pm EST: Priority I Deadline - Early applications strongly encouraged.
February 28th, 2024 - 11:59 pm EST: Priority II Deadline
March 30th, 2024 - 11:59 pm EST: Final Deadline
April-May 2024: Review Period
June-July 2024: Finalists invited for a brief interview
August 2024: 10th Annual Millennium Oceans Prize winner announced
August-May 2024: Campaign is in action
Summer/Fall 2025: Campaign results shared
what is the grand prize?
Winners will have the opportunity to rally their peers around the cause they care about throughout the ‘24-’25 year. The grand prize is funding of your campaign up to $5,000! The winner will also receive mentorship from MCN and be partners for the academic year.
